My beautiful baby mantis has moulted again this morning, he now has his wings and they are bloody huge. Really beautiful though, I was looking at the detail in them before, nature is truly fascinating. The funny thing was that the crabs seemed to be watching too, so cute when nature does things like this.

Well I now have a pet mantis and already, he or she has amazed me. When I first picked it up to put it in it's new house, it looked at me and I swear it was such a sweet moment, it's like my mantis was wonsdering who I was, of course I told the little creature I'm now it's new Mum:heart: And then guess what happened about an hour later, my baby started shedding, I swear nature is so beautiful and wonderful:love:

Well yesterday I ordered a giant Asian mantis and today he/she will be coming so I'm really excited.   I'm not sure if it's going to be a male or female yet or even how big it is going to be, but soon enough I will find out. Yeah, I'm a bit hyper, I just hope the post hurries up.   I've wanted to get a mantid for quite some time now, and I've finally decided to get one, there were 2 I quite liked the look of, the giant Asian mantis and the orchid mantis. I've decided on the giant Asian mantis now and maybe in the future I will get an orchid mantis. Mantids are so cute, and they look almost alien like. I don't know what it is about unusual p
